Finland stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Basic Materials, Utilities and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 lost 2.20% to hit a new 3-months low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were DNA Oyj (HE:DNAO), which rose 3.22% or 0.5900 points to trade at 18.9300 at the close. Meanwhile, Elisa Oyj (HE:ELISA) added 1.95% or 0.69 points to end at 36.09 and Telia Company AB (HE:TELIA1) was up 1.65% or 0.065 points to 4.001 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Stora Enso Oyj R (HE:STERV), which fell 6.33% or 0.980 points to trade at 14.510 at the close. Metsa Board Oyj B (HE:METSB) declined 5.76% or 0.465 points to end at 7.610 and UPM-Kymmene Oyj (HE:UPM) was down 4.94% or 1.60 points to 30.80.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 118 to 30 and 13 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for December delivery was down 1.84% or 1.56 to $83.44 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November fell 2.17% or 1.63 to hit $73.33 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.08% or 0.90 to trade at $1192.40 a troy ounce.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.28% at 95.09.
