Greece stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Household, Banking and Oil&Gas sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Athens, the Athens General Composite rose 0.16%.
The best performers of the session on the Athens General Composite were Piraeus Bank SA (AT:BOPr), which rose 6.36% or 0.070 points to trade at 1.170 at the close. Meanwhile, National Bank of Greece SA (AT:NBGr) added 6.09% or 0.090 points to end at 1.568 and Jumbo SA (AT:BABr) was up 5.30% or 0.610 points to 12.120 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Intercontinental International Real Estate Investment Company SA (AT:ICIr), which fell 4.55% or 0.250 points to trade at 5.350 at the close. Gek Terna (AT:HRMr) declined 4.18% or 0.205 points to end at 4.695 and Techn Olympic (AT:OLYr) was down 3.85% or 0.055 points to 1.375.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 60 to 44 and 13 ended unchanged.
Shares in Techn Olympic (AT:OLYr) fell to 52-week lows; down 3.85% or 0.055 to 1.375.
Gold Futures for December delivery was up 2.41% or 28.80 to $1222.20 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November fell 2.67% or 1.95 to hit $71.22 a barrel, while the December Brent oil contract fell 2.72% or 2.26 to trade at $80.83 a barrel.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.23% at 95.00.
