Australia fails to curb inflation
Data on the movement of consumer price indices show that the Reserve Bank of Australia's monetary policy is not tight enough to curb inflation. In annualised terms, CPI is 7.8% compared to 7.3% a month earlier. The RBA may raise interest rates again to reach its inflation target. The AUD/USD pair may resume growth.
