Eurozone inflation higher than forecasts
On Friday, Eurostat released inflation data. In November, consumer prices rose to 10.1% in annualised terms, which was slightly higher than the forecast, which predicted inflation would slow to 10%. Inflation in the Eurozone remains high, which continues to require further monetary policy tightening from the ECB. This will negatively affect companies' financial indicators, and it's likely that stock indices, including the DAX, will continue to fall.
