Increased Treasury bond yields buoy the dollar
The US dollar is receiving support from the rise in Treasury bond yields brought on by stronger investor confidence in the likelihood that the Federal Reserve will keep interest rates high for longer than was expected just a short while ago. Yesterday, the yield on 10-year T-bonds reached a four-week high. It's likely the dollar will continue to strengthen against the Japanese yen.
