Inflation slows in the US
Consumer prices in the United States rose by 3% in June and saw their lowest year-on-year rise in two years. The producers price index also moved up by 0.1%, less than expected. Inflation in the United States continues to slow, which is bad news for the dollar since the Federal Reserve may refrain from further interest rate hikes amidst such developments.
