Nasdaq could move into downward territory
The Nasdaq rose 13% in January amid expectations that the FED would put its monetary tightening on hold. Meanwhile, at a Q&A with the Economic Club of Washington, Jerome Powell stated that the Federal Reserve could take rates even higher than the market predicts. If we add to that weak corporate reporting and the general tech slowdown, a drop in the Nasdaq could definitely be on the cards.
