OPEC+ leaves its quotas unchanged
At the OPEC+ Ministerial Meeting on Sunday, member-states decided to leave existing oil production quotas unchanged. Rumours that the cartel would increase production volume that would put serious pressure on oil prices did not prove true. On Sunday, several cities in China decided to loosen anti-COVID restrictions, which whet investors' risk appetites. Oil prices are likely to rise.
