Pinterest has filed confidentially for an IPO and is already working with Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan Chase on organising its initial share offering.
Unofficial sources report that the IPO is planned for June and the company is hoping that it will generate $12 billion in share capital. At its latest investment round in 2017, the company was valued at $12.3 billion.
In addition to Pinterest, a number of other start-ups including Lyft, Uber, Slack, PagerDuty and Zoom all have IPOs planned for 2019.
