RUSSELL 2000 Index (TF)

Americanstock index Russell 2000 is one of the most popular instruments reflecting the dynamics of small companies on the US stock market. The companies of financial sector, high-technology sector and sector of durable goods production have the most extensive representation in the index.
It has been published since July 19, 1991.

Russell 2000 can potentially be more dynamic than S&P400 и S&P500 because of a higher mobility of small companies’ shares. Apart from that the index also reflects the US economic growth with priority to financial, technological and consumer sectors.
