Renault S.A. Shares

Renault’s share price reached its psychological level of €100 back in mid-2015. Then, in 2018, this key level was tested once again and the price fell to a low of €50 per share. Currently, the price is retracing its historic movements, giving new investors time to think about the next wave of growth.

Revenue of the company

In 2018, the company sold approximately 3.9 million vehicles, posting a revenue of €57.4 billion.

French automaker Renault S.A. reported a net profit margin of 3.9% in 2018, which was 4.7% lower than in 2017. This drop was due to currency market fluctuations, increased expenditure and higher raw material prices, the combined effect of which exceeded the benefit from the management’s cost of restructuring and positive pricing initiatives.
